Following are the system requirements for installing and running SilkMeter 2006.

| Processor | Intel Pentium III/IV or equivalent CPU |
| RAM | 256 MB minimum 512 MB recommended |
| Web browser | Internet Explorer 4.0.1 or higher (5.5 or higher recommended) |

TopBefore updating your SilkMeter installation using the SilkMeter 2006
installer, please uninstall any existing version of SilkMeter from your
system.
To keep your current settings and policies, select "No" when you are prompted to delete the SilkMeter settings during the uninstall process.
